GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA DRAWING GRADE EXAMINATIONS

ELEMENTARY GRADE EXAMINATION - 4th PAPER

SUNDAY, 4th OCTOBER 2015

[TIME - 02:30 P.M.  TO  05:30 P.M.]

PLANE GEOMETRY AND LETTERING

Instructions for Candidates -

(1)  Solve any three out of the five questions from Section 'A' (Plane Geometry).
(2)  It is compulsory to solve the question of 'Lettering' from Section 'B' ( Solid Geometry and Lettering).
(3)  All the lines drawn for the diagram should be permanent.  They should not be erased.
(4)  While Drawing the diagram, special attention should be given to neatness and preciseness.
(5)  If necessary, both the sides of the paper can be used.

SECTION 'A' - PLANE GEOMETRY

Solve any three questions from Section 'A' :-

[1]  Draw a right angled triangle having hypotenuse PQ = 8.5 cm and side PR = 5 cm.

[2]  Draw a circle passing through  L, M, N points which are not in a straight line.

[3]  Draw a square  ABCD  having sides 8 cm.  Inside this square, draw four equal circles in such a way that every circle should touch two sides of the square and the next two circles should touch the circumference of the remaining two circles.

[4]  Draw kite shape having adjacent sides PQ = 4 cm  and  QR = 8 cm and angle PQR = 110 degree.

[5]  Angle ABC = 40 degree.  Draw a circle of 2 cm radius touching the two lines of the angle.

SECTION 'B' - SOLID GEOMETRY AND LETTERING

Solve all the questions :-

[1]  Draw the Plan and Elevation of a pyramid whose base = 4 cm and height = 8 cm.

[2]  Draw a rectangle shaped board of size 20 cm  X  8 cm.

[3]  In the above rectangle shaped board, make use of Roman / Devanagari or any Indian script for the lettering suitable to the meaning of the word / title given below.  Colour it with colours of your choice.

कर्तव्य-भूमिति  व  अक्षरलेखन 

परीक्षार्थीसाठी सुचना :-

(१)  विभाग  'अ '  मधील कोणतेही तीन प्रश्न सोडवा. 

(२)  विभाग  ' ब '  मधील सर्व प्रश्न सोडविणे अनिवार्य आहे. 

(३)  आकृतिरचनेच्या सर्व रेषा, कायम ठेवाव्यात, त्या पुसून टाकता कामा नयेत. 

(४)  आकृति काढताना निटनेटकेपणा आणि काटेकोरपणा यांकडे विशेष लक्ष दिले जावे. 

(५)  आवश्यक वाटल्यास कागदाच्या दोन्ही बाजूंचा ( पृष्ठभाग ) उपयोग करता येईल. 

विभाग  'अ '  -  कर्तव्य-भूमिति 

कोणतेही तीन प्रश्न सोडवा :-

[१]  कर्ण  PQ = 8.5  से.मी. व बाजू  PR = 5  से.मी. आहे असा  PQR  काटकोन त्रिकोण काढ़ा.

[२]  एका रेषेत नसणारे  LMN  बिंदू घेऊन त्यामधून जाणारे एक वर्तुळ काढ़ा.

[३]  8  से.मी.  बाजूचा  ABCD  चौरस काढून तय चौरसात चार समान वर्तुळे अशी अंतर्लिखित करा, की प्रत्येक वर्तुळ चौरासाच्या दोन बाजूस व् लगतच्या वर्तुळ परीघांना स्पर्श करतील.

[४]  बाजू  PQ = 4  से.मी.  व बाजू   QR = 8  से.मी. असून  कोन  Q = 110  डिग्री आहे असा समद्विभुज चौकोन ( पतंगाकृती ) काढ़ा.

[५]  कोन  ABC = 40  डिग्री काढून त्याच्या कोनबिंदूत मिळणाऱ्या दोन रेषांना  स्पर्श करणारे  2 से.मी. त्रिज्येचे एक वर्तुळ काढ़ा. 

विभाग  'ब '  -  घन भूमिति  व  अक्षरलेखन 

पुढील सर्व प्रश्न सोडविणे अनिवार्य आहे :-

[१]  पायाची बाजू  4  से.मी. व ऊंची  8  से.मी.  आहे अशा चौकोनी सूचीचा  ( Pyramid )  अनुविक्षेप   ( Plan )  व उदविक्षेप  ( Elevation )  काढ़ा.

[२]  20 X 8  से.मी. मापाच्या आयताकृती फलकाचे रेखाटन करा.

[३]  वरील आयताकृती फलकात खालील शब्द / शीर्षकाचे सौंदर्य निर्मितीच्या दृष्टीने शब्दार्थाला अनुरूप किंवा कलात्मक पद्धतीने रोमन / देवनागरी किंवा एखाद्या भारतीय लिपीत सुसंवादी अक्षरलेखन करुन आवडीच्या रंगात रंगवा.
